Eligibility Criteria for Admission

 

B.E. / B.Tech Admission

Qualifying Examinations: HSC (Academic) / Equivalent
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as per the category-wise requirements.


Direct admission btech 2025

Minimum Eligibility Marks:

  • General Category (OC): Minimum 45% aggregate marks
  • BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate marks

Qualifying Examinations: Diploma
Candidates who have completed a 10+3 or 12+2-year Diploma or B.Sc. (any stream) examination, recognized by the Central/State Government, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply.

Minimum Eligibility Marks:

  • General Category (OC): Minimum 55% aggregate marks across all semesters
  • BC / BCM Category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks across all semesters
  • MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST Categories: Minimum 45% aggregate marks across all semesters

MBA Admission

Candidates must have passed a recognized Bachelor's degree (minimum of 3 years duration) with the following eligibility criteria:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% marks in the qualifying degree examination
  • BC / BCM / MBC / SC / SCA / ST (Tamil Nadu candidates): Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying degree examination

Eligible Educational Patterns:
a) 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5 years pattern
b) 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
c) B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm.
d) AMIE with 2 years of full-time teaching or industrial experience in the relevant field after successful completion of the course, including project work. Candidates must have enrolled before 31.05.2013 and provide an experience certificate.

Additional Eligibility for AMIE Candidates:
i) 10 + 2 + AMIE
ii) 10 + 3 years Diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE

MCA Admission

Candidates must have passed a recognized Bachelor's degree (minimum of 3 years duration) in:

  • B.C.A. or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent)
  • Any other Bachelor's degree (minimum of 3 years duration) with Mathematics at either the 10+2 level or Graduation level

Minimum Eligibility Marks:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% marks in the qualifying degree examination
  • BC / BCM / MBC / SC / SCA / ST (Tamil Nadu candidates): Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying degree examination

Eligible Educational Patterns:

b) 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
